Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotations, orders and contracts entered into by Elegance Glazing Ltd (company number 09861680), registered at 34–35 The Hill, Northfleet, Gravesend, Kent, DA11 9EX (“we”, “us” or “the Company”).

By accepting a quotation or placing an order with us you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing.

Prices are subject to change if the scope of work changes materially from that described in the survey. Any variation will be agreed with you in writing before additional work is carried out.

A contract is formed when you sign and return our order confirmation and pay the required deposit. We reserve the right to decline any order.

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of signing the contract (“cooling-off period”) without giving a reason, provided that no manufacturing or installation work has commenced at your request. To cancel, please contact us in writing.

If you cancel after the cooling-off period or after manufacturing has commenced, we reserve the right to retain your deposit to cover costs incurred.

A deposit (typically 25–50% of the total contract value) is payable on order confirmation. The balance is due on the day of completion of the installation.

We accept payment by bank transfer, debit card or credit card. All payments must be made in British Pounds Sterling.

If payment is not made within 14 days of the invoice date, we reserve the right to charge interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate.

We will agree an installation date with you in advance. Whilst we endeavour to keep to this date, we accept no liability for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including supply chain issues, adverse weather, or access problems).

You must ensure that clear, safe access is available to all areas where work is to be carried out. We reserve the right to postpone the installation if access is not available, and may charge a re-visit fee.

Any existing fixtures, fittings or decorations may need to be removed to allow installation. We will take reasonable care but cannot be held responsible for damage to items that are not removed before our arrival.

All our installations carry a 10-year guarantee covering defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them.

The guarantee does not cover: damage caused by misuse, accident or neglect; normal wear and tear; damage caused by third parties; or failure to follow our maintenance guidance.

All installations are registered with FENSA. You will receive your FENSA certificate following completion of the work.

Our total liability to you in connection with any contract shall not exceed the total value of that contract.

We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings, loss of use, or damage to other property, unless caused by our negligence.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us in writing at info@eleganceglazing.co.uk or by post to our registered address. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 1 business day and resolve them within 14 business days.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
